Parent's Code of Conduct

  • All pupils must resume on resumption day.
  • Pupils are expected to be in school on time.
  • Attendance to all school activities are compulsory and punctuality must be adhered to.

NOTE: If there would be any reason for absenteeism, kindly notify the school ahead of time. However, let’s be informed that any day absent affects the child’s academics.

  • No half day is allowed to any child unless there is an emergency
  • Lesson starts 7:45am daily, while closing time is for 2:00pm Monday to Thursday. School close for 12:30pm Fridays
  • Pupils having extra classes close at 3:15pm Monday to Thursday.
  • Assembly is for Mondays and Thursdays only, while reading is done for the rest of the days in the week.
  • Sports days are on Fridays. Pupils should be properly dressed in their complete sport wears.
  • Pupils are to be in their complete uniforms and foot wear at all times. Any other outfit will not be accepted except when instructed to.
  • School’s shoe colours are; black shoe for classes and white canvas for sport.
  • Hair must always be tidy, neatly plaited for girls while boys should have a good hair cut.
  • Parents are not permitted to enter the classroom during school hours (7:45am-2:00pm).
  • Pupils are expected to complete all assignments taken home and should handle books with care as there would be fine for any book tempered with.
  • Parents are not allowed to pick their child/children during school hours without given a prior notice would
  • Pupils are not allowed to bring in to school their personal belongings as the school would not beresponsible for any loss/damage.
  • Parents are not allowed to request for any teachers number as the teacher would be held accountable for this. Parents should speak with the school administrator if they need to talk to any teacher.
  • All information and complain should go to school administrator.
  • Parents are encouraged to always go through their wards communication book and respond.
  • Parents are to indicate and sign when they want their wards to be given medication and also notify school administrator.
  • Pupils are to be encouraged to handle school properties with care. Parents will replace any school property destroyed by their child/children.
  • No pupil is allowed out of the school premises without permission.
  • Any case of illness should be reported to the school administrator.
  • All acts of immorality, dishonesty, and other acts of indiscipline are punishable.
  • No bullying, as any form of bullying is punishable.
  • No fizzy drinks such as Coke, Fanta, Sprite, Mirinda, Pepsi etc is allowed. Only fruit drink is allowed.
  • Excess sweets, lolly pops, chocolates e.t.c are not allowed.
  • Pupils should always be given snacks for lunch break and clean water in a bottle.
  • Parents should inform the school where a child is likely to come late, will not be in school or he/she will be taken to the hospital the following day.
  • One or both parents must attend the P.T.A meeting every term and be punctual.
  • One or both parents must attend open days to see their children’s work and discuss the progress with teachers.
  • One or both parents must see the head teacher/administrator when a notice is sent to them on issues concerning their child or children.
  • Library books should not be taken home. Parents should send them back when found.
  • Pupils are to communicate in English Language always.
  • Pupils must obey and respect teachers and adults in and around the school.
  • Pupils must not use abusive language, fight their mates.
  • Parents should make arrangement with the school if they want their child/children to follow the school bus.
  • Pupils following the school bus should be ready before being picked up.
  • Any delay while the school bus is at the pupil’s house is not allowed.
  • The school bus will honk thrice when to pick up a pupil going with the school bus and when no response is given, the school driver will leave.
  • No arrangement should be done between a parent, the school driver or care giver as per pick up of a pupil without the school being in the know.
  • Any information about school bus shuttle should be done with the school administrator.
  • Parents should inform the school when they will like to change the time for drop off/pick up of their child
  • /children.
  • Parents should ensure that someone is ready to receive their child/children when the school bus goes to drop them. When no one is available that pupil will be brought back to school and the parent will pick up their child/children themselves.
  • Be kind, friendly, supportive and polite to; pupils, staff, other parents, visitors, school and management drop
  • Have positive attitude towards the school and cooperate with the teachers towards the betterment of your ward
  • Support the school’s discipline policy i.e punishment without flogging
  • Represent and be proud of your child’s school
  • Understand and accept differences in people
  • No offensive or threatening language towards anyone especially in the presence of your child
  • No disruptive behaviour that interferes with the running of the school
  • No defamatory or offensive comments about anyone on social media
  • Develop reading habit in your child by example
  • Parents should notify the management of any change of person to pick up their child/children or come with person to the school.
